The opening hours this Summer are from Thuesday June 15th until Thuesdag August 31st, Monday-Friday kl.11-17.
Besides our permanent Garbo exhibition we have this Summer special materials on show about the last Garbo-film Two Faced Woman.
"Greta Garbo come to Donegal", world premiere at the Tricycle Theatre in London at Januari 7.
Caroline Lagerfelt, Swedish veteran Broadway actress is playing Garbo.
"Caroline Lagerfelt is wonderfully good as Garbo. In fact, she is more striking than Garbo, whose eyes never brimmed with such elusive humour".

“The Swedish film actor Anna-Karin Eskilsson will be the leading actress in the coming big movie about Greta Garbo. “Garbo”, directed by Buddy Bregman,
a Hollywood veteran, has a budget around one hundred miljon SEK.
Anna-Karin Eskilsson moved to New York 14 years ago and has played smaller
filmroles, for example in “Sex and the city”.
The filming of “Garbo” will start next year. Buddy Bregman is wellknown as
music producer and composer and he has worked together with Ella Fitzgerald,
Bing Crosby, Frank Sinatra and other stars.”

One hundred nintyfour ( 194 ) magazines from year 1925 to 1976 with articles about Greta Garbo.
Through the members, Birgitta and Olof Ryner, of the Garbo society, the Society has received a large collection of magazines, which all contains articles about Greta Garbo. Twentytwo different magazines are represented.
The Magazine with the oldest and most numbers of articles is "Film-Journalen" with articles in 23 numbers, the first one from 1925. Other Magazines like "Året Runt", "Svensk Damtidning", "Hemmets Veckotidning" and many others are amoung those magazies which had many articles about Greta Garbo.
All the magazines are now registred and filed at Garbo Society and are included in the material which is avliable visitors to study.
The Garbo Society is pleased to bring forward a big "Thanks" to Birgitta and Olof Ryner for their generous contribution to our collections.
The local group of Garbo society in Stockholm are planning Filmevening during spring 2010 at the restaurant Backstugan
